LETTER OF SALAH Hamour

Salah, Franco - Palestinian prisoner in Israel "and ignored by France's Sarkozy
Since the prison cells, you can hear sometimes indignant voices that speak of human rights ....
These politicians, those governments who claim to defend human rights and applying justice do they know what is happening in the prisons of the Israeli occupation?
Do they know that over 8,000 prisoners suffer a slow death?
Sometimes voices at summits, sometimes one speaks of Palestinian political prisoners but there is talk of us as terrorists, faceless numbers while like all human beings, we are sometimes weak sometimes strong, we love and hate, we laugh, we even have moments of joy as we weep when we think of our families .
To express our pain, I would write ten books, but even an encyclopedia would not move your conscience if you have one after the race at Uncle Sam's petrodollar occupying Iraq as a democracy .
You support justice and human rights in parts of the world but here you support and legitimize the occupation and we are paying the price in our cells .
Have you ever imagined a Palestinian woman giving birth in prison, chained hand and foot?
Have you ever seen a child of twelve years handcuffed to a checkpoint and left for hours in the sun or rain by the will of a single soldier?
Do you know that many of my friends has already spent more than twenty years behind bars?
Many lost their parents without being able to say goodbye.
Western governments have a duty to revise their positions on the Middle East before it's too late .
Recently, the revolutions of the Arab people are putting an end to dictatorships that are most often used your interests instead of defending their people . Cheers
Arab revolutions!
Long live people power! Long live freedom
