Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez on Thursday called for" civil war "the recent events in Libya.
" Libya Cheers! Gaddafi is confronted with a civil war! "Exclaimed Mr. Chavez on his blog on Twitter.
He wrote just after the speech to MPs in the Assembly National by his Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nicolas Maduro, who had claimed that the U.S. stood behind unrest in Libya.
"They (the U.S.) create conditions to justify their invasion of Libya. We must not form an opinion on the difficult times that Libya is trying to live according to information from imperialist agencies "said the Venezuelan foreign minister, referring to Western media.
Maduro says, the violence was triggered by Libya to justify an intervention and get their hands on Libyan oil. He stated that Washington aspired to fragment Libya twenty parties and thereby deprive the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) to one of its main pillars.
FOUR TRUTHS THAT PERSON FROM OUR FRIENDS SHOULD IGNORE
I-Our peoples for decades, have never able to breathe freedom, or live in dignity, or access to knowledge, they were plunged into poverty showing the looting of wealth by rulers and their imperialist patrons .
Today, they rebel dignity and collective consciousness copy : the destiny of their nation belongs to them now .
II-Libya is absolutely not in a situation of civil war and the Libyan people, in all its sociological components, professional and religious unity in fighting against a dictatorship which, incidentally, failed to divide and provoke a civil war, relies on foreign mercenaries in its repression .
Comrade Chavez, what kind of civil war is there any case where people revolted against his dictatorship and the dictator have to use foreign mercenaries to save his regime ?!
III-The United States and its allies, like Italy, which has been concerned about the fate of Qaddafi, a great friend of Berlusconi, will face strong resistance if they invade Libya; just plunge into the history of Italian colonialism to get a first idea of the nature of this resistance .
They will walk over corpses to 6,200,000 to invade this country and seize its wealth ...
IV-unit of the Libyan people around the national army will defeat any attempt indoor or outdoor partition of Libya. Libya will remain united with Tripoli freed from dictatorship as its capital.
